Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 3 big size aloo


  • 1cup wheat flour


  • 4 onions for parota and gravy


  • 1tablespoon chilly powder


  • 2 tablespoon salt


  • 4tablespoon oil


  • 1 cup water


  • 2 tablespoon garam masala


  • 2 bunch finely chopped coriander


  • 2 tablespoon jeera powder


  • 2 tablespoon coriander powder


  • 1 cup roasted peanut for masala curry


  • 1 cup fresh coconut peices


  • 3 tablespoon nuvvulu (sesame seeds)


  • 1 tablespoon red chilly powder

Directions

  • In a bowl add wheat flour,salt and make dough by adding required amount of water
  • set a side meanwhile in a pan add oil when gets heated add finely chopped onions and saute them
  • when onions turn translucent add boiled and mashed potatoes
  • After potatoes get slightly fried add garam masala, jeera powder,coriander powder,salt and chilly powder
  • saute for 2min and turn off flame
  • take dough and make small balls out of them
  • roll them using rolling pin a little and add the potato mixture in the center and cease it and roll it again in required size
  • heat pan and place this rolled chapati and fry both sides
  • For masala curry
  • In a pan dry roast peanuts and allow them to cool
  • Now dry roast sesame seeds and coco ut separately and allow them to cool
  • Transfer above mixture to a processor and make fine paste
  • In a pan add oil and add finely chopped onions and fry them
  • Now add the above made paste and fry till oil oozes out
  • Add salt, red chilly powder, jeera powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, coriander powder and saute for a minute
  • Add water and adjust consistency and boil for 5min
  • Later switch off flame and add coriander and serve with parota
